International TV Chef & Cookery Author
Ching-He Huang is an international Emmy-nominated TV chef & cookery author who has become an ambassador of Chinese cooking around the world. She works tirelessly to promote Chinese cuisine through her TV shows, books, wok range and involvement in many high-profile campaigns and causes across the US and UK.

Ching’s previous website was not mobile-responsive or user-friendly. The design was outdated and her recipe videos needed to be streamed in higher quality with faster loading times—something that could prove costly in hosting fees.
Additionally, both her membership platform and recipe database needed to be restructured—requiring the decluttering of old data entries and an efficient backend integration expected from a modern website.
Ching also wanted to boost her organic reach and growing her following on both Instagram and Facebook, with the ultimate goal of driving more sign-ups to her website.
We built a custom website with a completely redesigned layout and user experience, providing a cost-effective and fast-loading solution for high-quality video streaming.
We compressed over 50 of Ching's videos and uploaded them into a Content Distribution Network (CDN) with servers available worldwide, charging by network traffic instead of a flat monthly fee. This allowed us to keep costs within budget and provide faster access to videos for users both inside and outside of US and UK.
Apart from providing a modern look to the website, we added dozens of new features to it as well—including free membership sign-ups, member-only access to videos, recipe pages containing more information (e.g. ingredients, nutritional value, etc.), and a recipe search bar that could distinguish variations of the same ingredient type. We were able to do this by manually restructuring the old database and integrating it into the new website.
A Content Management System (CMS) was built aorund these to make it easier to upload new recipes and blogs, and send email newsletters (eDMs).
To help drive extra traffic to the website, we designed a social media content strategy with specific content pillars to further establish Ching's personality and expertise in her field. We laid out both short and long-term goals for her user engagement and created a posting schedule that we executed in-house.
