The Challenge

As a newly formed gym in a highly competitive market, XP Fitness Hub needed a website to build awareness. They wanted to educate potential members on their unique workout, trainers and facilities, as well as allow classes to be booked online. This was essential to competing withe other fitness centres in the area.

Content organisation and branding was another challenge. XP Fitness Hub had a large list of classes that could seem overwhelming to newcomers. Additionally, the marketing materials they had at the time needed to be expanded upon with more details about the workouts and their benefits.

The Solution

We first started by analysing competitor websites with a goal of understanding how they organised their content and conveyed their branding, and how we could improve upon that. Based on our analysis, we created a layout for the website that would allow us to input all the information XP Fitness required. We then built the website on WordPress by customising a pre-existing theme that was tailored to gym websites.

In writing the content, we interviewed the XP Fitness team to develop a tone of voice suitable to the overall feel of their gym, and conducted extensive research on the unique selling points (USPs) of each one of their classes. With user-experience in mind, we also included details on health benefits, calories burned per hour, and who the classes are best for, and assisted in restructuring their pricing table to be in line with industry norm.
